Experience the best of Kenya's wildlife and culture with a comfortable lodge accommodation safari that spans seven days. The itinerary takes you through Nairobi, Lake Elementaita, Lake Nakuru, and Maasai Mara, where you will have a chance to witness a variety of wildlife, feed giraffes, and learn about the local culture.

Day 1: Nairobi

Upon arrival at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by a guide who will provide you with a briefing on your upcoming safari. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi, where you will stay overnight.

Day 2: Giraffe Centre & Elephant Orphanage – Lake Elementaita

Your second day starts with a visit to the Giraffe Centre, where you will have the chance to feed and interact with these gentle giants from a raised platform. Afterward, you will head to the Sheldrick's Elephant Orphanage Centre to see the rescued baby elephants playing and being fed by the staff. You will then visit the Karen Blixen Museum, which was once part of Karen Blixen's vast coffee estate and has been restored by the Danish community of Kenya. After lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens, you will drive to Lake Elementaita, a beautiful soda ash lake located in the Great Rift Valley. You will spend the next two nights at an eco-friendly lodge that offers a stunning view of the lake.

Day 3: Elementaita & Nakuru

On day three, you will visit Lake Nakuru, located just 50 minutes from Lake Elementaita. The lake is situated in the middle of the national park to which it gives its name and is home to lions, buffalos, and many rhinos. If you're lucky, you may even spot a leopard relaxing in a tree beside the lake. After a game-packed day, you will return to your lodge at Lake Elementaita, where you can enjoy the sunset over the lake before dinner.

Day 4: Lake Elementaita - Maasai Mara

After breakfast, you will leave the Great Rift Valley behind and drive to Maasai Mara, the setting for the Great Migration and countless wildlife documentaries. You will arrive at your camp in time for lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing before heading out on your first Mara game drive when the temperature cools in the late afternoon. Dinner will be served back at the camp.

Day 5: Maasai Mara Game Drive

The fifth day starts with an early morning game drive across the plains of Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five and other plains game. After a mid-morning of relaxation and lunch, you will head back into the reserve for a chance to spot more animals on your "must-see" list.

Day 6: Optional hot air ballooning

On day six, you have the option to experience a game viewing adventure from a different perspective - a hot air balloon safari across the Maasai Mara. The hot air balloon takes off in the morning and lasts for approximately an hour, allowing you to experience the landscape in a peaceful and unique way. Upon landing, a fully cooked breakfast awaits. You will have more game viewing opportunities later that morning en-route back to camp, and in the afternoon, you will visit a Maasai Village, where you will be welcomed by the locals' singing and dancing.

Day 7: Departure

On your last day, you will have breakfast before departing for Nairobi, where you can catch a flight back home.
